About the Certificate of Irish Heritage

In 2012, the Government of Ireland introduced the Certificate of Irish Heritage and Irish Gathering is proud to have been appointed as an authorised agent.

Getting a Certificate is Easy. Anyone of Irish descent who was born outside Ireland can be issued a Certificate.

Buy an e-Gift Card

After purchase, you will receive your e-Gift Card as an email attachment which you can print or forward. It resembles the real Certificate of Irish Heritage. See an example here.

For security reasons and as an anti-fraud measure, your e-Gift Card will only be sent to your email address 24 hours after confirmed receipt of payment.

To redeem the e-Gift Card, your recipient will just need some very basic ancestor information to create their personal certificate, and they can choose from a variety of designs, as illustrated in the gallery to the right.
